Roberto Fata Wins Challenge Championship

Roberto Fata (Ferrari of Long Island) proved that a Challenge driver with only three years experience can become Challenge North American series champion. Fata had an impressive season, winning four races and only finishing outside the top five on one occasion in 13 races. Scott Tucker, driving for Boardwalk Ferrari, seized second place, scoring an impressive six wins. Third place in the championship was claimed by 2007 series champion Mike Zoi who notched two wins during the season.
