Formula 1 To Hockenheim

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen triumphant in 2007.
From the British Grand Prix we turn our attention to the Grosser Preis Santander von Deutschland at Hockenheim July 20.  This is a 67-lap race on the 2.84-mile circuit for a total of over 190 miles.  Historians will note that our own Kimi Raikkonen set the current lap record of 1:13.780 in 2004.

The entire Ferrari team gathers at the paddock. Be there with them this year!
Ferrari has made significant advances in four years of Formula 1 racing, so one might expect a Ferrari driver to eclipse that time this year.

Just 30 minutes south of Mannheim, Hockenheim can be easily included in any tour of west Germany. The facility features a go-kart track that replicates the original and the Hockenheim Motor Sports Museum  features a collection of Formula 1, sports racing cars and racing motorcycles.

The thrill of watching Formula 1 racing on this, one of Germany's greatest tracks, may be enhanced by acquiring Ferrari Paddock Passes.  Here, you have the opportunity of mingling with Europe's sophisticated racing community, while enjoying the trackside intensity of championship competition.

If Germany is in your travel plan this July, ring the Ferrari Concierge Call Center at 1 (866) 551-2828 or register directly on the Ferrari Owners' Site.
