Ferrari Wins Le Mans

The Risi team cheers their drivers across the finish line.
Risi Competizione, the Houston-based Ferrari team featuring drivers Mika Salo, Jaime Melo and Gianmaria Bruni, scored an eight-lap victory at the annual 24 Hours of Le Mans at Circuit de la Sarthe near Le Mans, France.

Risi, the 2007 American Le Mans Series GT2 champion, led a Ferrari clean sweep of the podium in the 76th running of the French endurance classic.

“Our years of racing the Ferrari 360s and 430s have paid off with this win,” said team owner Giuseppe Risi who does not expect the competition to be any less intense when he returns his team to the next American Le Mans Series event.

Gianmaria Bruni, Jaime Melo and Mika Salo, Risi Competizione GT-2 winners, form a "red podium."
Three teams are now driving Ferraris at ALMS and after a recent win of majestic proportions, you will not want to miss the next two American Le Mans Series races.

The action returns in two, quickly succeeding events -- the first at Lime Rock Park, Connecticut July 11-12, the second at Mid-Ohio July 17-19.  Be sure to contact your local Authorized Ferrari Dealer to inquire about GT Club participation.  You can always rely on a successful and exciting day at the race track when you join with other Ferrari fans for elite customer service by an attentive dealer.
